In This Moment Live @ The Black Sheep in Colorado Springs Colorado. I myself have worked on & off in the music industry (as a musician, photographer, roadie & huge fan) for decades, I no longer shoot professionally (for the time being, just for fun & for friends or bands I know, or really like.) Have seen In This Moment about 6-7 times on various tours, and taken pictures of them 3-4 times. I either send the pics to them, or burn them on a disc to give to them when I see them. I am proud to say they have used some and even if they didn't, I am proud to call them friends. They rock (see pics & then check out a couple of their videos (will post links in comments for ya). Don't let Maria fool you with her good looks, she has an amazing voice (& even more amazing vocal range), she & the whole band sound even better live. Really great people, if you get the chance to see them (they are on tour right now) check them out & tell em' TR said hi. If you see a 6'3 red head guy hanging out with them, tell me hi. :)
Some history of the band: In 2005, singer Maria Brink and guitarist Chris Howorth met through some friends. After becoming acquainted, and finding that there was much in common between them, they began writing songs together. By mid-2005, the band recorded demos and posted them on their MySpace page, where they generated an internet following. By the end of the 2005, In This Moment had generated a huge fanbase through internet marketing and do-it-yourself touring. (Including me, I wrote to them, talked with Maria & Chris & then attended a couple of their shows & took pics which I sent to Chris & he included about a dozen of them on their website & sent me a bunch of promo items.) This sparked an interest from Century Media Records, and a worldwide record deal followed. The band released their debut album Beautiful Tragedy in 07 (which has my name in the listings in the back), followed by The Dream in 08 & A Star-Crossed Wasteland in 2010. They are on tour right now, and about to join the "Music As A Weapon 5 Tour (With Korn, Disturbed & Seven Dust - have seen all these bands before & they also put on one hell of a show.)
