..Now if it could only do yard work, and take the yard waste and turn it into dollars and cents...

I know how to cook rabbit (ate many when I lived in the south), but haven't hunted anything in years. Get plenty of wild game from friends that do (Deer, Elk, Turkey, etc...) Don't know anything about cooking woodchuck/groundhog, so nope, not in my freezer.

Actually I have become quite a veggie eater myself, it is pretty much due to my wife's cooking & varied use of veggies & making them taste so darn good. (Don't tell my mom, she would freak out ;) )

I take veggies.. slice them up into pieces about the same size.. and stir fry them.. and.. one could either have all veggies.. or throw in some small pieces of already cooked meat.. it could be a left over night.. I do it once a week.. peppers, onion, beans, carrots, mushrooms, sliced pieces of pineapple ..and other stuff.. and just top it over rice.. I will add soy sauce..low salt..I will go through the grocery aisle where they will have a lot of Chinese spices.. and use a little of this and that.. make it up as you go.. whatever feels right.. It's funny sometimes.. people will say hey this is good.. what did you put in it.. I'll respond.. a little of this and that.. I never measure when cooking.. I just do BAM! lol

Sounds good. Indeed, spices are what really makes different things so good, she is masterful in the use of various spices. We steam most of our veggies, but stir fry is always a good idea, we both love far eastern food, might just have to get the wok out & make some stir fry this weekend. Just a little bit of brown sugar on the carrots really gives them a great flavor, and of course keeping them firm not to mushy. We don't measure or follow recipes to the letter , just depends on what we have around & we figure what we can make out of it. Dang, now I am starting to get hungry. ;)

TR .. I steam also.. I'm the Chief cook and bottle washer in my home.. I like to know what I am eating after 35+ years together.. one never knows what they might slip into it.. lol

Stir fry - is timing.. you want the veggies El dente' that's why they try to cut the veggies apprx the same size ... bite size preferably..

I am secondary cook (we sometimes have conflicting schedules, otherwise we trade off) I am the main dishwasher though. I cook different (less experimental, less strange/safer combinations) when cooking for both of us. Have been a cook on and off many times over the years at various types of restaurants (and was lucky to work with a couple of great chefs), learned a lot. Cooking & bartending both really good skills to pick up a quick job pretty easy just about anywhere to get by on.
